Award Winning Trails

The Canaan Border Riders Inc. maintains approximately 96 miles of groomed trails in the extreme northeast corner of Vermont. Our trail system winds through the wilderness of the Northeast Kingdom and serves as a gateway to New Hampshire and Quebec.

We welcome any new members who would like to join our club. We are always grateful for current members who are active in supporting and volunteering in anyway they can.

Landowners, without you, none of this would be possible.

History

The Canaan Border Riders Inc. was founded in 1966 by a group of local citizens looking to give back to the community and organize a system of trails for winter recreation. 2016 marked our 50th year serving snowmobilers in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

We provide high quality snowmobile trails that are groomed several days a week.  Our trails are in the towns of Canaan, Beecher Falls, Lemington, Lewis, Averill and Bloomfield.   We have two Kassbohrer Pisten Bully groomers with Mogul Master drags.
